BMF Young Professionals

The BMF Young Professionals (BMFYP) was established by the Black Management Forum (BMF) to nurture and cultivate the development of young professionals in various corporate and entrepreneurial environments.

The BMFYP caters for professionals and entrepreneurs post tertiary and up to the age of 35 years.

As part of its vision of being the most influential youth organisation for young, primarily black professionals and entrepreneurs in South Africa, the BMFYP hosts an array of engaging sessions for young professionals and entrepreneurs.

The purpose of these sessions is to promote access to personal and professional development and networking opportunities for our members.

BMF Young Professionals Development Programme

The BMF Young Professionals Development Programme (YPDP) is aimed at creating a leadership pipeline that espouses the philosophy and the values of

  • Ubuntu,
  • Respect,
  • Creativity,
  • Integrity and
  • Effectiveness.

As part of the programme, the participants are required to undertake an Action Learning Project in which they use the problem-solving and decision-making processes to define, analyse and develop solutions to an identified business or societal challenge.
